Clara thought she had turned the page by marrying Romain, the man who had hurt her in high school. But on the very night of their wedding, an unexpected confession shatters everything she thought she knew.

Can we truly turn the page on the past? Some wounds seem to fade with time… until a single word brings them flooding back. This is what happens to  Clara  when she marries  Romain , the man who made her life miserable in high school. Convinced he has changed, she agrees to give him a second chance. But on their wedding night, an unexpected confession shatters everything she thought she knew.

When the past resurfaces at the most unexpected moment

The day had been perfect. A simple ceremony in the garden of her best friend  Julie , laughter, a few tears of emotion and the feeling of opening a new chapter in her life.

Sitting in front of the mirror in the guest room, Clara gently removed her makeup after the party. The house was quiet, fragrant with candles and flowers from the garden. For the first time in a long time, she felt calm.

But deep down, a slight tension persisted.

Because Romain was not a stranger. Years earlier, in high school, he was one of those who had often made her uncomfortable with barely audible remarks, ambiguous jokes and a nickname that had ended up sticking with him.

Nothing spectacular, nothing that could be easily denounced… but enough to leave a mark on a sensitive teenager.
